 Bugibba

Bugibba is a modern, lively resort with a large selection of shops, bars, cafe's & restaurants.  It is one of Malta's largest and most well equipped resorts and has something to cater for all tastes.

Although the beachfront is rocky, there are lidos, flat rocks and sheltered waters for bathing and watersports.  At night there is a huge selection of restaurants, bars & discos in 'the square' and there is even a casino to choose from.

Transfer time - 45-55 minutes

Qawra

Qawra is located approximately a 10-15 minute walk away from Bugibba and also has a good selection of shops, bars & restaurants although those looking for a livelier nightlife should head for Bugibba.

 The seafront is also rocky but there are places where it is safe to swim.  At night there is a good selection of bars & restaurants.

St. Paul's Bay

St. Paul's Bay is a quieter, more laid back resort although it does have a selection of shops, bars & restaurants it is more suited for those looking for a more relaxing holiday.  It is also not far from Bugibba for those who wish to stay in a quieter area but with good access to a busier resort.

 This resort is particularly reknowned for its picturesque bay, where St. Paul was reputedley shipwrecked and for the small and colourful Luzza fishing boats which are traditional in Malta.

St Julian's

St Julian's is the liveliest resort in Malta mixing the charm of its picturesque fishing harbour (Spinola Bay) with the vibrancy of its modern quarter (Paceville).  This resort has a huge selection of shops, bars & restaurants, a bowling alley, cinemas, a casino and a modern shopping centre.

 The seafront promenade stretches for several miles and although the beach is rocky it still offers access for swimming, diving, underwater fishing and other water sports.

Transfer time - 25-35 mins

Sliema

Sliema is a lively fashionable resort well known for some of the smartest boutiques and shops on the island.

There is a wide selection of bars & restaurants which throng with life during the afternoons and evenings whilst people enjoy the views across the harbour.  Sliema has a long seafront promenade from which you can take dips in clear waters from large rock platforms.
