Popeye Village - visit the set of the Disney film where you can see the actual houses in the film, you can even become an actor in the 'take 2' animation show.  Visit the sweet factory and Santa's Toytown (where it is christmas all year round) or you can have a boat trip or visit the funpark which includes a splash pool and Jump Around (Malta's biggest ball pool). 

Splash and Fun Water Park - for a day filled with fun for all the family this is the place to go, whether you want to lie back and relax by the high tide wave pool, take a thrilling ride down one of the water slides or just float around in the lazy river.  There is also a daily animation programme which offers fun and games throughout the day such as tropical dances, volley ball, salsa and aerobics.

Mediterraneo Marine Park - this is a unique opportunity for the whole family to enjoy and interact with dolphins, sea lions, pelicans & fish.  There is also a parrot show, a reptile house and a childrens amusement area. 

Sicily - take a day trip to the beautiful island of Sicily, which is only 90 minutes by catamaran, where you can visit the summit of Mount Etna (one of the most active volcanoes in the world). 

Gozo - known as the island of Calypso, Gozo is reached by ferry and this is where time seems to stand still.  Although this is Malta's sister island it is greener and more picturesque, it is known for its knitwear (especially arran jumpers) and hand made lace.

Blue Grotto - take a boat trip to the 'grotto' which is a series of caves that has been carved out of the rock by the relentless pounding of the sea.  When in the caves you can experience the brilliant phosphorent colours of the underwater flora.

Mosta Dome - in world war II a bomb fell through the roof whilst a congregation of 300 people were present, miraculously the bomb did not explode and no-one was killed.  You can visit this beautiful church where you can see where the bomb came through the roof and a replica of the bomb is displayed in the church.

Valletta - this is Malta's capital city and is surrounded by a fortress, it is a working city which is busy during the day yet still retains a timeless atmosphere.  Walking around Valletta you will come across an historical site around every corner.  It is also a delight to shop in with its narrow side streets boasting tiny shops selling antiques, prints and jewellery and in its main streets shops selling more modern things such as music and high fashion.
